Ruella Crouch — Managing DirectorWith over 25 years recruitment experience, Ruella co-founded Ruella James in 1999. She remains a passionate recruiter still actively engaging with clients and candidates alike on a daily basis. She is predominantly responsible for running retained campaigns and working with senior level candidates. On the rare occasions when Ruella is not at her desk, you will usually find her spending valuable time with her young family and friends. |

Katie Wakeling — Business Operations ManagerKatie has been with Ruella James for over 10 years, she is responsible for our Finance, Advertising, Marketing and HR functions as well as supporting the Consultants in a variety of guises on a day to day basis! She initially worked for a high profile Management Consultancy as an Internal Recruiter, then as a Recruitment Consultant for an industry leading firm, before moving to Recruitment-to-Recruitment. When she is not at her desk, Katie likes nothing more than enjoying the great outdoors with her young family, participating in a range of activities including cycling and walking.

James Wilkinson — Chief ExecutiveAfter working in the City as a Gilt Broker, a short stint in Property Management and five years running his own video production company, James became one of the founder Directors of UK Telecom plc, specialising in the design, manufacture, operation and management of payphones. In December 1999, James co- founded Ruella James. |

James Hall - Business ManagerJames joined Ruella James in 2010 after a fruitful 6 years with a leading international recruiter. He specialises in the placement of experienced Recruiters across our client base in addition to developing new and maintaining existing client relationships. When he is not at work, James can be found on the golf course trying to improve his handicap. |

Nicola Jennings - Talent ManagerNicola joined Ruella James in 2012 to focus on managing our Graduate & Trainee division, specialising in the placement of Trainee Recruiters, Resourcers and Researchers with 0 to 12 months experience across our client base. Nicola prides herself on the depth of her registration process which incorporates; face to face and Skype interviews, CV and competency based questions, a range of role plays and various other assessments. When she is not speaking to the next generation of recruiters, Nicola likes to spend time with her family. |

Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her young son and has recently completed a sprint triathlon. |

Rachel Diplock — Talent ManagerRachel joined Ruella James in 2011 and is one of our Talent Managers responsible for sourcing candidates for our high profile client base. She has a particular interest in speaking to Recruiters from the Media and Digital space having spent many years specialising in it herself prior to moving into Recruitment-to-Recruitment. Having recently given birth to her second daughter, Rachel is currently on Maternity Leave and will be returning to the business shortly. |

Paul Hale — Talent ManagerPaul has nearly 5 years experience within recruitment. He started at Ruella James initially as a Researcher, and has recently been promoted to his current role of Talent Manager. He focuses predominantly on sourcing talent at all levels across a range of sectors. When he is not speaking to candidates, Paul is a passionate musician, writing and performing his own material. |
