Katie is responsible for a combination of many things including Finance, Administration, Marketing, Advertising, HR and PA support to the MD, Ruella. When the Consultancy team are unavailable, Katie also provides support to candidates and clients and helps them through the process.
Katie has been a part of the Ruella James team for nearly 20 years. After pursuing a degree in Primary Education, Katie developed a passion for recruitment consultancy through roles at McKinsey and Company (Management Consultancy) and resourcing candidates for the Management Consultancy division at Michael Page International. Katie then joined the Ruella James team in 2003, and immediately connected with the values and missions of the business, first joining as an Administrator/Office Manager before evolving her role into the one it is today.
When out of the office, Katie dedicates free time to her family, as a full-time working mum. She can often be found supporting her children's passions for sports on wet & muddy football or rugby fields! Otherwise, Katie enjoys camping, cycling, the theatre and long walks, having walked Hadrian's Wall with some university friends two years ago. Katie likes to challenge herself, and is on the lookout for her next adventure.
