The Person

  • Experienced Finance recruitment professional from a Permanent contingency, Interim or Search background

  • To suit the nature of senior interim recruitment, you instinctively seek to solve problems and continuously relationship build within your networks.

  • You have reached a stage in your career where support and collaboration are welcome, but hand holding is not needed.

  • You want to operate solely within portfolio companies and exclusively work with CFO and finance leadership candidates.

  • You may be a strong consistent Permanent Contingency recruiter and it’s time for a real uplift in your finance recruitment career.

  • Alternatively, you are already operating in Interim or Search and thrive in the company of CFO and Senior finance clients and candidates alike.

  • Privately owned and established for over a decade, this boutique firm are specialists in the provisions of Finance leaders within Private Equity backed companies.

  • Through Executive Search and Interim Management, there is no dilution in their expertise and dedication to the appointment of private equity and delivery level finance leadership talent.

  • Client partnerships span European large-cap and mid-market private equity firms and across many industry sectors.

  • Often pitching against significant Search firms, it is their specialism and ability to deliver enabling them to continually retain their first-class reputation.

  • UK based and with a headcount of c20, the Partners run a high-trust and autonomous culture whilst offering exemplary levels of support and guidance.

 

The Role

  • Joining the Partner spear heading the Interim practice, placing Interim finance leaders into portfolio companies, backed by large-cap and mid-market Private Equity firms.

  • Totally hands on, the Partner is placing at CFO level interims - in their first year as a standing start they achieved £400k, £750k in year 2 and this year will exceed £1m.

  • The Partner would like you to take charge of this CFO minus one level and you will receive assignments to work on immediately.

  • Already firmly established in CFO Interim, a further £2m+ of Interim billing has been identified as realistic potential at the CFO minus one level.

  • Typical assignments of FD, Head of FP&A are exclusively won and averaging 6 months each at £1k day rates, realistic billings and earning potential is c£150k to £200k+

  • Across carve-out, pre-deal process, organisational transformation, or changes at the top, enjoy a soft landing into their warm client and candidate network.

  • Into the current client base of CFO’s already placed, you will focus on winning and placing Finance leadership interim mandates.

  • Future goals are to build this division into a team of c5 – and there is every opportunity for this individual to take a leadership role.
