The Person

  • You’ve now reached a stage in your recruitment career where you want to work amongst specialist peers, who share your passion for the Banking and Financial Services sector.

  • Ideally, you are an established recruiter with a strong track record of working with clients and a network in any of the following – Banking, Wealth Management, Fintech, Payments.

  • OR, you specialise in Senior Management and Board Level – CFO’s, COO’s, CEO’s, Chief Risk Officers, Head of Finance.

  • Of equal interest, are Banking and FS recruiters who specialise in Legal Counsel, Audit, HR or Senior Middle/ Back office

  • A strong business developer, you have the ability and drive to build your own desk

  • Ideally, you bring a network of existing clients / contacts and candidates in the relevant space – that you can refer to after any restrictive covenants have passed.

  • Working across 6 key verticals, they operate the mid to senior level, offering clients Contingency,

  • Retained, Full Executive Search and Interim

  • Their focus is mid to senior level, as typically contract rates are £500-£1500 per day and Permanent salaries of £80K-£150K (and beyond).

  • Describing themselves as “10 foot wide and x1,000 feet deep”, each consultant either specialise in a sector, or niche vertical across a variety of sectors

  • They recognise and understand in today’s market the time it takes to build an executive /senior candidate desk and happy to give people the support and time they need to do so.

  • Reflective of the senior level they operate within, you are provided with exceptionally

The Role:

  • Sitting within the Banking and Financial Services Practice, operating at senior management/ executive level

  • The division is organised into x4 main verticals Commercial Banking (small to mid-size banks), Payments & Fintech, Wealth/ Asset Management and Digital Assets (Crypto).

  • Typical candidate salaries fall around £70k to £200k (not unheard of to reach £230k/ £300k), with c30% retained and 70% contingency on an exclusive basis.

  • All Consultants are 360 and have the flexibility to dual desk (Permanent and Contract / Interim).

  • Join a mature, collaborative and experienced team placing Banking / Financial Services talent, working at the Senior level,

  • Established billers are achieving £400k to £600k – and your Director innately understands it takes time to establish yourself, make that first placement, or pick up a retainer.

  • To this end, all new individuals joining have an established consultant to collaborate with, share tactical guidance and get things moving from “day one”
