The Person

  • You're already operating at senior level in Banking Operations recruitment, or Financial Services more broadly, and are confident on both client and candidate fronts.

  • You can speak in detail about how you've built or revived key client relationships, and you're proud of the business you've created from scratch.

  • You should enjoy a fast-paced, sales-led environment, and be financially aspirational.

  • You see recruitment as a high-value, relationship-driven sales role – where phones beat emails and reputation opens doors.

  • If you’ve worked city clients, placed in ops, distribution, trading support, P/Q finance or tech with FS clients – you'll fit right in.

The Role:

  • Our client seeks a Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a high-performing Banking Operations desk.

  • This is a full 360 role, with huge headroom for growth.

  • You'll inherit a warm network and have the opportunity to expand market share, revive lapsed clients, and build a client base in partnership with the MD.

  • Your billing potential is significant – most consultants reach £200k+ by the end of year one, with £90k OTE typical on £230k billings.

  • This is not a delivery-only position, they are looking for someone who loves the chase as much as the close – reviving relationships, creating client expansion strategies, and being proactive in business development.

  • Commission is cumulative and uncapped, starting once you hit your base salary and scaling to 40% beyond £300k billings.
